Man dies a week after hit-and-run on Eastern Express Highway in Mumbai; probe on to trace vehicle

Charan Singh Tejendrasingh Kukreja, 48, succumbed to injuries on June 8 after being struck by a speeding vehicle on the Eastern Express Highway in Vikhroli East on June 2. Found by a passerby, he was hospitalized and later moved to Criticare Hospital in Juhu. His brother, Sarabjit Singh, filed a complaint alleging reckless driving.
