Mumbai to see bike taxi on pilot basis from today; fare Rs 15 for first 1.5km, then 10.3/km

Mumbai’s transport authority has greenlit bike taxi services with a minimum fare of Rs 15 for the initial 1.5 km and Rs 10.27 per subsequent km. Ola, Uber, and Rapido, having received provisional licenses, are set to commence pilot operations across MMR soon.
