In an interview on Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo, U.S. President Donald Trump was asked if he thinks Hamas will disarm. Trump replied that “They said they would,” but also it was a very violent part of the world. He ruled out U.S. boots on the ground in Gaza but said the U.S. would support Israel “with our back end” if needed. When asked about a timeline for Hamas to disarm, Trump said, “Not a timeline. Not a hard line,” but added, “It’s a line in my own mind. And at a certain point, if they don’t do what they’re supposed to do, we’re going to have to do it for them.
