Manipur Earthquake: Two earthquakes detected near India-Myanmar border

Manipur Earthquake Today: A series of earthquakes struck Manipur and Myanmar early Tuesday, according to the National Center for Seismology. Two earthquakes struck the Northeast state and Sagaing (Myanmar), near the India-Myanmar border, followed by a tremor between Imphal and the international border a few hours later.
A 4.6-magnitude hit was detected in Thickegyin (in the Sagaing region of Myanmar) at 05:38 am, and another one with its epicentre in Kamjong, Manipur, was recorded at 05:59 am. The latter measured 5.2. At 09:03 am, a tremor, measuring magnitude 3.3, was recorded near Chongdan.
A magnitude 5.4 earthquake was also felt in Colombia and Ecuador at 7:52 am. The seismic events come a day after a magnitude 7.5 earthquake was detected off the coast of Japan.

Two earthquakes were detected in Myanmar on Monday. The first one recorded magnitude 4.3 and was felt at 10.07 am. The second, recording 3.8, was felt at 9.31 pm.
