Elon Musk has announced a new AI venture called Macrohard under xAI, a playful jab at Microsoft. Musk envisions Macrohard as a purely AI software company, aiming to simulate the functions of traditional software companies. This isn’t the first time Musk has used the term, having previously used it in 2021 to troll Microsoft.
