Bengal floods: Toll hits 36, five of the victims are from Nepal

Flood waters receding in north Bengal have revealed eight more bodies, bringing the total death toll to 36. Chief Minister Banerjee announced Rs 5 lakh compensation and jobs for families of the deceased, while addressing the devastation in Mirik and promising swift restoration of a key bridge.
