Canada to accept TOEFL Essentials for permanent residency applicants

Foreign nationals applying for Canadian permanent residency will soon be able to use the TOEFL Essentials test to demonstrate English proficiency. Recognized by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the test complements existing options like CELPIP, IELTS, and PTE Core.
