Shares of Canara Robeco Asset Management Company surged 13% to Rs 285.28 in Wednesday’s trading session after the company delivered a strong first-quarter FY27 performance, driven by robust revenue growth, higher profitability, and steady expansion in assets under management.

The sharp rally came after investors reacted positively to the company’s healthy financial numbers, with the asset manager reporting a significant improvement in earnings momentum.

Canara Robeco Asset Management reported a 20% year-on-year (YoY) increase in revenue from operations at Rs 116.2 crore in Q1FY27, compared with Rs 97.1 crore in the same quarter last year.

The company’s Profit After Tax (PAT) jumped 24% YoY to Rs 75.6 crore during the quarter, compared with Rs 61 crore in Q1FY26. On a sequential basis, profitability witnessed a strong recovery, with PAT rising 83% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ), reflecting improved operational efficiency and business momentum.

Business Highlights – June 30, 2026

The company maintained steady growth across key business parameters as of June 30, 2026. Total Assets Under Management (AUM) stood at Rs 1,195 billion, marking a 2% YoY growth.

Quarterly Average Assets Under Management (QAAUM) increased 7% YoY to Rs 1,187 billion.

Equity-oriented QAAUM rose 7% YoY to Rs 1,081 billion, indicating sustained investor preference for equity investment products.

Total folio count reached 5.05 million, highlighting continued retail participation.

The company strengthened its nationwide footprint with 29 branches across India.

The combination of rising assets, growing equity participation, and stronger earnings performance helped improve investor confidence and triggered buying interest in the stock.

Canara Robeco Asset Management Share Price and Technical View

Canara Robeco Asset Management shares were trading at Rs 285.28, giving the company a market capitalisation of around Rs 5,515 crore. The stock’s 52-week high stands at Rs 353.55.

From a technical perspective, the stock’s Relative Strength Index (RSI 14) stood at 48.1, indicating a neutral momentum zone.
