CBSE–NCB tie-up: 100 schools to pilot drug-free drive; 500+ teachers trained

CBSE and NCB have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to combat substance abuse in schools and promote a drug-free environment. The MoU outlines collaborative efforts such as awareness programmes, teacher training, counselling, and digital resources. A pilot programme will begin in 100 CBSE schools. Senior officials attended the event, followed by an awareness session for over 500 educators. This initiative aims to create a safe and supportive ecosystem for students across CBSE-affiliated schools in India.
