Civic polls: Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena gets ‘helping hand’ from MNS in Kalyan-Dombivli

In a significant post-poll development, the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has extended support to the Shiv Sena in the Kalyan–Dombivli Municipal Corporation. This alliance, with MNS’s five corporators backing the Shiv Sena’s 53, brings the total to 58, inching closer to the required majority for forming the civic body’s government.
