Cough syrup row: Madhya Pradesh drug controller transferred, 3 others suspended

Tragedy struck Chhindwara as 15 children died after allegedly consuming Coldrif cough syrup. In response, Madhya Pradesh transferred its drugs controller and suspended three subordinates. The Chief Minister visited affected families, while police arrested a doctor who prescribed the syrup. The NHRC has ordered inquiries and sample testing across multiple states.
