Delhi woke up to severe fog and smog on Saturday, with pollution levels reaching dangerous highs in several areas. Calm winds trapped pollutants, worsening air quality to ‘Very Poor’ and ‘Severe’ categories. Vehicular emissions and NCR districts were identified as major contributors to the pollution load.
