‘Demonises Muslims’: SC to examine if BJP video attracts hate speech FIR

The Supreme Court has agreed to examine a plea seeking an FIR against Assam BJP for a video alleging Muslims would take over the state. Petitioners argue the video vilifies Muslims and violates the apex court’s order against hate speech. The court issued notice and will hear the case on October 28.
