Dozens Injured As Tehran Strikes Israel’s Nuclear Town Of Dimona

by Carbonmedia

As the war between Israel and Iran enters its fourth week, it has taken a dangerous turn, with nuclear-linked sites now in focus. Late on Saturday, Iran struck two communities near Israel’s main nuclear research centre, Dimona and Arad, leaving buildings shattered and several people injured. The strikes came hours after Tehran’s main nuclear enrichment site , Natanz was hit by Israel. This was the first time Israel’s nuclear research centre has been targeted in the fighting. Israel’s military said it was not able to intercept the missiles. While Israel insists there is no damage or radiation leak at Dimona, it has accused Iran of using long-range missiles, signalling a major shift in capability.
