Govt eases non-FASTag penalty from this date: But there’s a catch!

From November 15, 2025, the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways will implement a revised toll structure on National Highways. While FASTag users pay the base toll and cash payers face double charges, non-FASTag vehicles using UPI or other digital methods will pay 1.25 times the standard fee, replacing the current uniform double penalty.
