एआईएम ग्लोबल फाउंडेशन ने 5 से 8 अगस्त 2026 तक अपने अध्यक्ष दाऊद अल शेजावी की यात्रा के दौरान भारत के निवेश और व्यापार समुदाय के साथ अपनी भागीदारी को आगे बढ़ाया। फाउंडेशन के अंतरराष्ट्रीय रोड शो के हिस्से के रूप में आयोजित, इस यात्रा ने संयुक्त अरब अमीरात के उपराष्ट्रपति और प्रधान मंत्री और दुबई के शासक महामहिम शेख मोहम्मद बिन राशिद अल मकतूम के संरक्षण में आयोजित एआईएम कांग्रेस के 15वें संस्करण की तैयारियों का समर्थन किया।
यात्रा के दौरान, अल शेज़ावी ने वरिष्ठ सरकारी अधिकारियों और प्रमुख समूहों, निजी उद्यमों, वाणिज्य मंडलों और व्यापार और उद्योग संघों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले नेताओं से मुलाकात की। चर्चा निवेश सहयोग को मजबूत करने, भारतीय व्यवसायों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय अवसरों से जोड़ने और उन्नत विनिर्माण, प्रौद्योगिकी, स्टार्टअप, टिकाऊ बुनियादी ढांचे, व्यापार और डिजिटल अर्थव्यवस्था में साझेदारी तलाशने पर केंद्रित थी।
ये जुड़ाव संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और भारत के बीच बढ़ती आर्थिक साझेदारी पर आधारित है। 18 फरवरी 2022 को हस्ताक्षरित और 1 मई 2022 से लागू यूएई-भारत व्यापक आर्थिक साझेदारी समझौते ने व्यापार, निवेश और निजी क्षेत्र के सहयोग के लिए एक व्यापक ढांचा स्थापित किया है।
According to India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, bilateral trade crossed USD 100.06 billion in the 2024–25 financial year, recording growth of 19.6%. In January 2026, the two countries agreed to work towards doubling bilateral trade to USD 200 billion by 2032, reflecting the scale of their shared economic ambitions.
