Indian Army Officer Wins UN Award For Gender-Inclusive Peacekeeping

Major Swathi Shantha Kumar, an Indian Army officer from Bengaluru currently serving with the UN Mission in South Sudan, has been awarded the prestigious UN Secretary-Generals Award 2025 for her contribution to gender-inclusive peacekeeping
