J&K: Farooq Abdullah hospitalised in Srinagar; suffering from abdominal infection

Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah was admitted to a private hospital in Srinagar after developing an abdominal infection earlier this week. National Conference leaders confirmed his condition is now improving significantly. He had been unwell for several days but is expected to be discharged either later today or by tomorrow, according to party sources.
