Deputy CM DK Shivakumar announced a 114-km elevated road corridor to alleviate Bengaluru’s traffic congestion, following the clearance of the tunnel road project. A Rs 4,000 crore ‘Swachha Bengaluru’ initiative will revamp the city’s waste management, dividing it into 33 zones. Tenders for both projects are expected soon, with strict regulations around tunnel exits near Vidhana Soudha.
