Karur stampede: Special teams formed to arrest TVK’s Anand, CTR; anticipatory bail plea filed

Three special teams have been formed to arrest TVK general secretary Bussy Anand and deputy general secretary CTR Nirmal Kumar following a stampede at a rally that killed 41. Police accuse them of mismanagement and deliberate delays, while the two leaders have sought anticipatory bail from the Madras High Court.
