Between January and July 2025, Kuwait recorded over 2,600 divorces, including a sharp rise in early marital breakdowns and 222 khula cases initiated by women. Notably, 287 divorces occurred before consummation. In response, the Ministry of Justice is expanding reconciliation centers and launching awareness campaigns to address rising divorce rates and promote family stability across the country.
