LIC

Government of India’s holding value in Life Insurance Corporation of India declined by Rs 78,889 crore during the March 2026 quarter to Rs 4,42,909 crore from Rs 5,21,799 crore in the December 2025 quarter. The stock price fell 15.12% during the period.

Indian Railway Finance Corp

GOI’s holding value in Indian Railway Finance Corporation dropped by Rs 44,154 crore to Rs 96,497 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared with Rs 1,40,652 crore in the previous quarter. The stock declined 30%.

Hindustan Aeronautics

Government holding value in Hindustan Aeronautics decreased by Rs 43,191 crore in the March quarter to Rs 1,67,073 crore. The stock price was down 20.54% during the period.

Bharat Petroleum

GOI’s holding value in Bharat Petroleum Corporation fell by Rs 23,673 crore quarter-on-quarter to Rs 64,584 crore from Rs 88,257 crore earlier. Shares of the company declined 26.82%.

Indian Oil Corp

The government’s holding value in Indian Oil Corporation declined by Rs 22,587 crore to Rs 98,466 crore in the March 2026 quarter. The stock fell 18.66% during the same period.

IDBI Bank

GOI holding value in IDBI Bank dropped by Rs 20,288 crore quarter-on-quarter to Rs 30,073 crore. The lender’s stock price declined 40.29%.

Punjab National Bank

Government holding value in Punjab National Bank fell by Rs 18,541 crore to Rs 80,992 crore as of March 31, 2026. The stock declined 18.63% during the quarter.

Canara Bank

GOI’s holding value in Canara Bank decreased by Rs 17,959 crore in the March quarter to Rs 70,472 crore. Shares of the bank were down 20.31%.

Rail Vikas Nigam

Government holding value in Rail Vikas Nigam declined by Rs 16,342 crore to Rs 37,915 crore from Rs 54,257 crore in the previous quarter. The stock price dropped 30.12%.
