However, the Mumbai BJP chief has denied any such discussions, stating that no tenure-sharing arrangement has been finalised. The BJP has reiterated that coordination between Devendra Fadnavis and Eknath Shinde remains strong and that the Mayor will be from the MahaYuti alliance.
