New Yamuna bridge built using cantilever method to boost Delhi Metro’s Phase IV expansion

Delhi Metro is set to inaugurate its fifth bridge over the Yamuna River, connecting Soorghat and Sonia Vihar stations on the Majlis Park-Maujpur corridor. This 560-meter bridge, built using the balanced cantilever technique, is a key part of the Pink Line extension. The Majlis Park-Maujpur corridor is expected to become operational this year, enhancing connectivity across the city.
