In a disturbing incident, 18 young athletes from Odisha were forced to travel near train toilets in freezing conditions due to unconfirmed tickets while heading to represent the state at the 69th National School Wrestling Championship in Uttar Pradesh. Instead of proper coaches, the students were crammed into toilet areas along with their luggage, enduring cold steel floors and a lack of basic facilities-raising serious questions about the treatment and safety of India’s young sporting talent.
