A powerful 6.7 magnitude earthquake jolted Papua province in Indonesia on Thursday, according to the USGS. The tremor occurred at a depth of 70 kilometers, with its epicenter located approximately 200 kilometers from Abepura city. Fortunately, no tsunami warning was issued following the seismic event.
