Railways to upgrade Vande Bharat trains: More coaches on 7 routes amid rising demand

The Railway Board has decided to augment Vande Bharat trains on seven routes, including Mangaluru Central–Thiruvananthapuram Central and Secunderabad–Tirupati, due to high passenger occupancy. Three 16-car trains will be upgraded to 20-car, and four 8-car trains will be increased to 16-car. Released trains will be deployed on new routes, with additional 20-car trains prepared for launch.
