SEBA Assam Board HSLC Class 10th Result 2026 Marksheet Link at Sebaonline.org, resultassam.nic.in LIVE: The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) declared the Class 10 Division 1 Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) examination results for 2026 exams today, April 10. After the Assam board 2026 HSLC results are declared, students could access their Assam board Class 10 marksheets through the official websites — asseb.in and sebaonline.org. The overall pass percentage this year stands at 65.62 per cent. A total of 85,189 students are placed in the first division, 1,50,167 in second division, and 46,345 were placed in third division. A total of 3,983 students secured distinction marks (510 marks and above) and in the star marks category (450 to 509 marks), a total of 13,681 student are placed. As many as 99,062 student shave scored letter marks (over 80 marks) in at least one subject.
A tentative timeline was also hinted at by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma during an election rally. As per his remarks, the ASSEB Class 10 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Matric results are scheduled to be announced on April 10, and Class 12 HS results by April 20. The Class 10 matric examinations for 2026 were conducted between February 10 and February 27. While the result will be made available online, the schedule for issuing hard copies of the certificate-cum-marksheets to successful candidates will be announced later. Hard copies will not be provided to failed candidates; however, those who wish to obtain one can apply separately at the Board office.
Assam HSLC 10th Results 2026: How to check marks online
This year as well, Class 11 admissions in all educational institutions will be based on the digital marksheets, after verifying results through the Results Gazette, which will be shared with schools in PDF format. No hard copies will be issued. The Member Secretary/EDP at ASSEB Div–I regional offices will circulate the Gazette to district schools via WhatsApp groups. Institutions can also verify individual results on the board’s website, sebaonline.org, or through the mobile app, and must contact the Assam State School Education Board (Div–I) in case of any discrepancies.

Assam Board Class 10 HSLC Result 2026 Live Updates: Application for rechecking of result
Candidates who wish to have their Assam board Class 10 matric answer scripts re-checked must apply online through the official website. The fee for re-checking along with obtaining a scanned copy of the answer script is Rs 400 per subject.
The re-checking process includes re-totaling of marks, evaluation of unanswered questions, and correction of any errors in mark entry. It does not involve re-evaluation of answers.
The results of the re-checking process will be communicated to candidates within 30 days via SMS and email. In case of any change in marks, revised mark sheets will be issued through the respective schools.

ASSEB HSLC Result 2026 Matric Live Updates: Who can take Assam board Compartment exam?
The ASSEB has decided to conduct the Compartmental Examination 2026 for candidates who were unsuccessful in the HSLC Examination 2026 but failed in a maximum of three subjects and secured at least 170 marks in aggregate.
Eligible candidates will be allowed to appear for the examination in a single chance. To pass, candidates must obtain a minimum of 30 per cent marks in each subject they appear for and secure at least 180 marks in total. Those who pass will be eligible for admission to higher classes in the same academic year.
However, candidates who do not pass the compartmental examination will have to seek re-admission in their respective schools and reappear as regular candidates if they wish.
The examination schedule and application process will be notified after the HSLC results are declared. Candidates will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 500 per subject along with an additional Rs 150 as centre fee. The exam will be conducted only for theory papers, while marks from practical and internal assessments will be carried forward.
