In northwest Delhi’s Ashok Vihar, a 40-year-old sanitation worker died, and three others are critically ill after inhaling toxic fumes while cleaning a sewer. The workers, employed by Brijgopal Construction Company, were found unconscious and rushed to the hospital. Police have registered a case, investigating potential violations of safety norms and the Prohibition of Employment as Manual Scavengers Act.
