Markets remained under pressure on Thursday, extending their losing streak for the fourth consecutive session amid persistent geopolitical concerns. Technically, analysts say the Nifty has once again retested the lower band of its prevailing consolidation range of 23,800-24,400. A decisive break below this support could trigger the next leg of the decline towards the 23,600 zone, which coincides with the rising trendline support.

In today's trade, shares of Infosys, Cipla, Meesho, Suzlon Energy, IndiGo, NTPC among others will be in focus due to various news developments and first quarter results.

IT services major Infosys reported 12% year-on-year (YoY) growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 7,769 crore in the first quarter. The same stood at Rs 6,921 crore in the last year quarter. Revenue from operations in the reporting period increased 14% YoY to Rs 48,211 crore.

Meesho narrowed its June-quarter loss as marketplace revenue rose sharply and operating metrics improved, helped by higher user engagement, better delivery conversion and stronger platform monetisation. The company reported a loss of Rs 133 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with a loss of Rs 289 crore in the same quarter.

Cipla on Thursday reported a 39% fall in consolidated net profit for the June quarter to Rs 789 crore as weakness in its North America business and lower operating margins offset record revenue from its domestic market.
