Indian equity markets staged a recovery on Monday, snapping a four-session losing streak as the benchmark NSE Nifty 50 rose 153 points, or 0.68%, to close at 22,753.

A sustained move above the 20-day exponential moving average (EMA), placed at 22,820, Pabitro Mukherjee, Deputy Vice President–Research at Bajaj Broking, said, could signal a further pullback towards the 23,100–23,200 resistance zone. Failure to cross 22,820 could extend the consolidation seen over the previous two sessions within the 22,370–22,820 range.

Against this backdrop, several stocks including Paytm, Tata Consumer, Dalmia Bharat, REC, DCM Shriram, and others are likely to remain in focus on Tuesday, October 27, as investors track September-quarter earnings, fundraising plans, credit rating updates, regulatory developments and new business wins.
