Indian equities ended Friday’s session marginally higher, with softer crude prices and positive cues from Asian markets supporting sentiment. The Nifty 50 rose 75.80 points, or 0.31%, to close at 23,346.40, while the Sensex gained 19.63 points, or 0.03%, to end at 74,294.96.

From a technical perspective, a sustained move above 23,600 could pave the way for the Nifty to test 23,800-24,000, provided Brent crude remains below $102 and bond yields ease, according to Hariselvan Radhakrishnan, Founder and CEO of HST Wealth. On the downside, a break below 23,000, he believes, could bring 22,800-22,600 into focus, particularly if crude prices or US Treasury yields rise again.
