Who is Devki Devi? ‘Solar Didi’ wins PM’s praise; lighting up rural lives with dignity

Devki Devi, a resident of Muzaffarpur, Bihar, has become an inspiration for women empowerment. Referred to as “Solar Didi” by PM Modi, she overcame financial struggles by embracing solar energy for irrigation. With support from the JEEViKA self-help group, she secured a loan to install solar panels, irrigating over 40 acres for 112 farmers.
