A former Uber driver, Jonathan Rinderknecht, has been arrested in Florida and charged with maliciously starting the deadly Pacific Palisades fire. The blaze, which claimed 12 lives and caused extensive destruction, began shortly after midnight on New Year’s Day. Investigators allege Rinderknecht was at the scene before the fire erupted.
