8 Bengali workers assaulted in Odisha; 1 survives to tell tale of horror

Eight migrant workers from Murshidabad were brutally assaulted in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, by a mob who accused them of being ‘Bangladeshi cattle thieves’. Abdul Alim, one of the victims, recounted the horrific attack, stating that the attackers chanted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ while beating them. He managed to escape and return home, while the others are reportedly receiving treatment in Bhubaneswar.
