A 14-year-old girl in Meerut was allegedly molested by Janu alias Jane Alam, who was arrested on Monday. While trying to escape police, he fell into a pit and fractured his arm. The incident, reportedly captured on CCTV, was reported by the girl’s mother on October 4. A case under BNS and POCSO Sections 7 and 8 has been registered.
