The 70th Filmfare Awards in Ahmedabad celebrated Bollywood’s rich history with a ‘Sholay’ tribute and a Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol reunion. ‘Laapataa Ladies’ swept major awards, including Best Film and Director for Kiran Rao. Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan shared Best Actor, while Alia Bhatt won Best Actress. Shyam Benegal and Zeenat Aman received Lifetime Achievement honours.
