TNDGE TN Board SSLC 10th Result 2026 Released: The Directorate of Government Examination, Tamil Nadu, has announced the results for the Class 10 Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination. Candidates can check their results on the official website at dge.tn.nic.in and tnresults.nic.in.

The Tamil Nadu SSLC exam recorded an overall pass percentage of 94.31%, with girls continuing to lead performance charts at 96.47%, ahead of boys at 92.15%. A total of 8,70,643 students appeared for the examination, out of which 8,21,105 cleared the exam successfully.

TN SSLC 10th Result 2026: Overall performance
This year’s overall pass percentage of 94.31 per cent marks an improvement from last year’s 93.80 per cent. The board has recorded a steady rise in performance over the past five years. In 2022, the overall pass percentage stood at 90.07 per cent, which increased to 91.39 per cent in 2023, 91.55 per cent in 2024, 93.80 per cent in 2025, and now 94.31 per cent in 2026.
Among the total candidates, 4,35,396 boys and 4,35,247 girls appeared for the exam. Of them, 4,01,214 boys and 4,19,891 girls passed the examination.
TN SSLC 10th Result 2026: Girls outperform boys
Girls once again outperformed boys in the TN SSLC examination. The pass percentage among girls stood at 96.47 per cent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 92.15 per cent — a gap of over four percentage points.
The board data also showed that girls’ schools recorded a pass percentage of 96.42 per cent, while boys’ schools stood at 88.50 per cent. Co-educational schools recorded a pass percentage of 94.42 per cent.

TN SSLC 10th Result 2026: Districts with highest results
Pudukkottai emerged as the top-performing district in the state with a pass percentage of 97.57 per cent. Sivagangai followed closely with 97.54 per cent, while Thanjavur secured the third spot with 97.41 per cent.
Tiruchirappalli recorded a pass percentage of 97.31 per cent, while Kanniyakumari stood fifth with 97.30 per cent.
TN SSLC 10th Result 2026: School-wise performance
Private self-financing schools recorded the highest performance among all school categories with a pass percentage of 98.14 per cent. Government-aided schools registered 94.34 per cent, while government schools recorded 91.86 per cent.
Out of the total 12,467 schools whose students appeared for the exam, as many as 5,171 schools achieved a 100 per cent pass result. Another 8,233 schools secured pass percentages above 95 per cent. Among government schools alone, 1,931 schools recorded a perfect result.

TN SSLC 10th Result 2026: Subject-wise results
English recorded the highest subject-wise pass percentage at 99.44 per cent. Tamil stood at 98.43 per cent, Science at 98 per cent, Social Science at 97.93 per cent, and Mathematics at 97.36 per cent.
In terms of centum scores, Science saw the highest number of students securing full marks, with 10,476 candidates scoring 100. Mathematics recorded 3,194 centums, Social Science 3,336, English 92, and Tamil 34.
Overall, 17,132 students secured full marks in at least one subject. Among them, 2,774 students were from government schools.
TN SSLC 10th Result 2026: Revaluation and supplementary exams
Students will be able to download their provisional marksheets from May 22 onwards. Applications for scanned copies of answer sheets can be submitted between May 22 and May 27.

The board will accept applications for supplementary examinations from May 26 to June 9, while the supplementary exams are scheduled to be conducted between July 8 and July 15, 2026. Applications for revaluation and retotalling can be submitted from June 17 to June 19.
