A group of anguished parents gathered in Srinagar’s Press Colony demanding immediate evacuation of their children studying in Iran, amid intensifying Israel-Iran tensions. The students, mostly MBBS aspirants, are stranded in cities like Tehran, Qom, and Shiraz, living under constant fear. Parents voiced their desperation over irregular communication and lack of clarity on evacuation plans. Holding placards and chanting appeals, they urged the Indian government and Ministry of External Affairs to treat the issue as urgent and humanitarian.
