‘We don’t have that much budget’:Rakesh Roshan explains the reason behind delay of Krrish 4, says ‘I am struggling with budgeting’

Hrithik Roshan's film Krrish is one of the most successful franchise films of Indian cinema. The three successful parts have wowed audience and they re eagerly waiting for Krrish 4. The film has been in talks from quite some time. As fans are awaiting any update on Krrish 4, Rakesh Roshan recently expressed his concerns regarding film's scale and budget. In an interview with Gaana, Rakesh Roshan shared that while the scale of his film is immense, he is facing difficulties in financing it. He mentioned, "I’ve been waiting for years, but I’m struggling with the budgeting. The scale of the film is large. If I reduce the scale, it’ll seem like a regular film. The world has become smaller. Today’s kids have seen so many superhero films, and if they spot even the slightest flaw, they will criticize it." 'We don't have that much budget' He further added, "We have to be very careful. And we can’t make films on the scale of Marvel or DC. We don’t have that kind of money. Our budget doesn’t allow us. We have to focus more on the story. There will be big sequences in the film, but if there are 10, there might only be 2 or 3." 'Krrish 4' is going to be a big film In an earlier interview with India Today, Rakesh Roshan revealed that while Krrish 4 will be the biggest film in the franchise, budgeting remains a concern. He explained, "The audience is still not returning to theaters, which is a big question mark for me. Krrish 4 is going to be a big film. The world has become smaller, and today’s kids are used to seeing Hollywood superhero films made on budgets of 500-600 million dollars. Meanwhile, our budget is just Rs 200-300 crore in comparison."Original Article
