Mumbai could see earliest ever monsoon arrival: IMD

Mumbai is bracing for a potentially record-breaking early monsoon, with the IMD forecasting onset within three days, possibly surpassing the 1956 record of May 29. The southwest monsoon has already reached Devgad, Konkan, ten days ahead of schedule. Favorable conditions suggest further advancement across Maharashtra, including Mumbai.
