SRH head coach Daniel Vettori attributed Mohammed Shami’s poor IPL 2025 form to a long T20 layoff, citing issues with length and rhythm. Shami took only six wickets in nine games with an economy of 11.23. Vettori also revealed Nitish Kumar Reddy’s side strain limited his bowling despite last season’s breakout performances.
