Bombay high court halts Mumbai airport’s bid to replace Turkey’s Celebi

In a relief to Turkish aviation firm Celebi, the Bombay High Court has intervened. The court directed Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL) to halt new contract awards. These contracts were for ground and bridge handling services. The legal battle arose after security clearance revocation for Celebi’s Indian arm. The Bureau of Civil Aviation Security cited national security concerns.
