Axiom-4: Shukla lifts off as emotional mother watches from Lucknow

Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla’s family celebrated at his former school in Lucknow as he prepared for his spaceflight. As pilot of Axiom Mission 4, Shukla is set to launch from NASA’s Kennedy Space Centre for a 14-day ISS journey. Following Rakesh Sharma’s footsteps after 41 years, Shukla aims to inspire Indian youth.
