Cabinet approves Peru based potato research centre’s unit in Agra

The Union cabinet has approved the establishment of the International Potato Center’s South Asia regional research unit in Agra, with an investment exceeding Rs 111 crore. This initiative aims to boost employment by enhancing potato and sweet potato productivity, improving post-harvest practices, and adding value.
