‘Win’ For US: Drug Lord ‘Fito’ Captured In Dramatic Raid Straight Out Of A Thriller | On Cam

Ecuador security officials have arrested Jose Adolfo Macias Villamar, known as Fito, the country’s most wanted drug lord. He was recaptured during a tunnel hideout raid in Manta, Manabi province. Fito escaped prison in January last year, reportedly with the help of two guards and triggering deadly prison riots. He was on the run for 18 months before being recaptured. Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa said Fito faces extradition to the US.
