‘What can be done if … ‘: TMC leader’s controversial remark on Kolkata rape case

Kalyan Banerjee, a Trinamool Congress leader, made a controversial statement regarding the Kolkata law college rape case. He questioned the possibility of preventing such incidents between friends. A student was allegedly raped within the college premises on June 25. Police arrested three men, including a former student leader Manojit Mishra. Mishra has connections with senior Trinamool Congress leaders.
