Pratyusha Banerjee rose to fame as Anandi in Balika Vadhu. However, her success was short-lived, as she was later found hanging in her Mumbai apartment. Nine years after her death, her ex-boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has spoken out. He has shared his side of the story and made several revelations. Rahul has also slammed actress Kamya Punjabi. In conversation with Bhaskar English, Rahul Raj Singh spoke on the reality of causes behind Pratyusha Banerjee's death. Rahul shared that he was framed in a fake case, and the allegations on him were the part of narrative given by Kamya Punjabi and the gang. Kamya took benefit of Pratyusha's loyalty Rahul Raj Singh revealed Kamya who was at least 20 years older than Pratyusha, used to drink with her and have house parties. He alleged that Kamya couldn't be Pratyusha's friend as there was so much age gap between them. She should have stopped her drinking habits. In his words:- Kamya Punjabi was a side actor and Pratyusha was the lead actress. She was at her peak and everybody wants to be with famous people. Kamya wasn't paid as much as Pratyusha was paid. So, through Pratyusha she wanted to grow. Took loan of Rs 2.5 lakh from Pratyusha Rahul also revealed that Kamya took a loan of Rs 2.5 lakh from Pratyusha and till date she has not returned it. Kamya did not even return money to Pratyusha's parents. She never convinced Pratyusha to not drink. She used to bear all expenses and Kamya relied on that. She also took money from her which till date she hasn't returned. Vikas Gupta is a fake person After Pratyusha's death, Vikas Gupta in one of the interviews claimed that he once dated her but their relation didn't worked. To this Rahul said that Pratyusha never dated Vikas Gupta. He said Vikas wanted to gain limelight in her name. When we were doing Power Couple, Pratyusha told me Vikas Gupta proposed her but she declined his proposal after which she stopped getting work for a certain time.
