A fraudulent app named ‘Trump Hotel Rental,’ featuring AI-generated content of the former US President, has reportedly defrauded over 200 investors in Karnataka of nearly Rs 2 crore. The scammers lured victims with promises of high returns on investments, but the earnings displayed on the app were fictitious. Police investigations are underway across multiple districts following numerous complaints.
