Team India have left for Dubai to participate in the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025. While the marquee world event of the year is set to participate on February 19, the Men in Blue begin their campaign with their first match against Bangladesh on February 20. Senior players Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma were among the first batch of players to leave for the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The first group also included head coach Gautam Gambhir and bowling coach Morne Morkel among others. Team India boarded a flight from the Mumbai Airport on Saturday (February 15). Jasprit Bumrah ruled out of Champions Trophy India will miss the services of their premium fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah for their tournament. The right-arm speedster sustained a lower back injury during the fifth Test match against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) in January and has subsequently been ruled out of the competition. In his absence, India have roped in Harshit Rana in the side with Mohammed Shami set to lead the pace attack. In a last minute change, India have roped in Varun Chakravarthy in place of Yashasvi Jaiswal in the side.
